Responsibilities
- Decorating specialty cakes including wedding cakes; using fondant and frosting.
- Piping skills to create custom messages on cakes.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of all day & evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Follow health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- At least 2-years experience in the pastry arts field along with a minimum of 1-year experience with fondant and high-end decorating
- Attention to detail on creating decorations and designs on all types of pastries; intricate designs require keen eyes; able to see different colors and hues when mixing icings and creating designs.
- Artistic and creative abilities to create execute elaborate designs.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
